CA Anil Arora qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 and set up Anil Arora & Co. in Lucknow in 1985. The firm began with a small roster of family-owned businesses and statutory audit engagements drawn from the city's manufacturing and trading community.
The first decade was spent building the core practice — statutory audit under the Companies Act, income-tax returns and assessments, and the routine corporate filings that anchor any general CA practice. The work was, and remains, file-by-file.
Lucknow is not an adopted base; it is home. CA Anil Arora was born in the city, and his schooling and college education were completed here before he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. The firm he registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with effect from 1 April 1985 — Firm Registration No. 002619C — has practised from Lucknow ever since.
Philosophy
The firm has held to the same idea for four decades: read the file carefully, apply the standards faithfully, write the opinion in plain English, and stay reachable when the client needs you. Nothing more, nothing less.

What we do
Nine service lines spanning audit and assurance, direct and indirect taxation, corporate law and secretarial work, FEMA and international taxation, accounting and outsourcing, business advisory, and a newly formalised CFO and Virtual CFO practice for Indian and overseas clients. The proprietor leads each engagement; junior staff support, never substitute.

The client base ranges from Lucknow-anchored manufacturing and trading houses, to growth-stage startups in IT and SaaS, to NRIs and overseas businesses with India-side compliance.
